Welcome to Stage Four of your Custody Action: First Financial Affidavit

  •   |   Meghan Freed

Financial Affidavits are intended to give a clear and accurate picture of the incomes and finances of both parties to a custody action. They are not only required by the Court but also play a critical role in settlement discussions. In this phase, you will give us the information we need to prepare your first Financial Affidavit. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to review our draft and swear to its accuracy. Your Financial Affidavit will be updated throughout your case, so the more you invest in getting the first one correct, the smoother the updates are down the line.

Below are resources to help you learn more about the Financial Affidavit and key things you should know.
