Lisa Faccadio has been a pillar of the Connecticut and Middlesex County legal communities for four decades. She graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York, and earned her Juris Doctorate at Western New England College School of Law in 1977.
Since that time, Lisa has dedicated her career to the focus of family law in Connecticut. In addition to running her successful private practice for over forty years, she has also been an adjunct professor for the University of New Haven, Baypath College, Mitchell College, and Quinnipiac College, now known as Quinnipiac University. She has been invited to speak at the National Business Institute on the topic of family law.
Lisa has also been a Special Master in the Connecticut Family Court for the last twenty-five years, assisting in family court resolutions throughout the state. She was most recently appointed as a member of the Standing Committee on Recommendations for Admission to the Bar of Middlesex County. Lisa’s memberships include the American Bar Association, as well as the Connecticut Bar and Middlesex Bar Association, of which she was term President from 2010 to 2011.
When Lisa decided to merge her law firm in 2023, in order to spend more time with her family, Freed Marcroft was the firm that spoke to her. She appreciated their focus on family law only, and the experience and knowledge the Freed Marcroft attorneys brought to the table. Lisa is a nature lover, and enjoys long walks and spending time with her family and their dog.
