Fundraiser For Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury in Honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Freed Marcroft is proud to sponsor a fundraiser to benefit Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, Inc.

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence:

• Domestic Violence affects 1 in 3 women in their lifetime.
• In the United States, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner.
• The need for safe housing and the economic resources to maintain safe housing are the two most pressing concerns among women who are planning to or have recently left their abusive partner.
