Before joining Freed Marcroft, Elizabeth was a litigation paralegal for over 20 years. She enjoyed the research and trial preparation, as well as the courtroom experience. When she moved into a hybrid paralegal-administrative role during the pandemic, she discovered a passion for market research and analytics, and finding creative ways to grow a firm. She returned to school for a degree in marketing and advertising, with a desire to remain in the legal field.
When an opportunity to work with Freed Marcroft presented itself, she took it without hesitation. She had received a copy of the firm’s mission, vision, and core values, and knew this was the place she wanted to be. Working with a family law firm that goes beyond a ‘judgment of divorce’ for their clients and strives to put them on their best path forward, resonated with Elizabeth after her long career in the field. Every member of the team believes that each client’s happiness matters, and that makes putting her efforts into growing the work the firm does an easy decision. She brings enthusiasm and a problem-solving ability to Freed Marcroft, where she strives to be an example of one of the firm’s mantras, to Play All In, in everything she does.
When she isn’t working, you can usually find her in the woods- with a pack and a shovel. She’s an avid camper, and an amateur forager who will try anything once… except mushrooms. Elizabeth and her spouse are animal lovers, and her fur crew includes 4 rescue dogs, who also love the woods and digging in the dirt, and one cat, who is not a fan.
