Meghan Freed and Seth Conant will co-present “The New Age of Divorce: Emerging Law Issues and Awareness” at the Connecticut Bar Association’s annual Connecticut Legal Conference. The session will address how, in understanding the emotional aspects of divorce, lawyers can help educate and assist clients to determine the most appropriate approach to divorce, taking into consideration the individual client’s interests and goals as well as the family as a whole.
In addition, this program will highlight some nuanced but increasingly common legal issues including parental rights and step parent adoption in divorces between same sex spouses, and immigration issues in divorce.
The Connecticut Legal Conference is Monday, June 13 at the Connecticut Convention Center, Hartford.
