With over a decade devoted to divorce and family law, Kassie Boucher is a committed, experienced paralegal at Freed Marcroft. Born and raised in central Connecticut, Kassie chose Freed Marcroft for its widely known reputation of success, equality, and empathy — values that resonate deeply with her own professional philosophy. At its heart, her passion for family law is driven by the meaningful connections she forms with clients navigating complex life transitions. Kassie finds immense satisfaction in providing calm, steadfast guidance during challenging moments, helping empower her clients to step confidently into their next chapters.

Kassie’s professional experience is built on a deep academic foundation, beginning with studies in Criminal Justice at Asnuntuck Community College, Court Reporting and Transcription through Connecticut Community College, Criminology and Psychology at Central Connecticut State University, all the way to her degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Hartford. She actively volunteers as an intake coordinator with the Connecticut Bar Association’s Free Legal Advice Clinic, facilitating crucial support to attorneys providing valuable community service.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Kassie is a person of diverse interests. She is devoted to her family, an avid hiker, a passionate traveler, a tattoo enthusiast, a big dog lover, and a voracious reader (especially when it comes to Harry Potter).
Kassie’s devotion to ongoing learning and growth is a testament to her dedication to her profession and her clients. She always aims to create meaningful impacts in the lives of her clients at Freed Marcroft, and she believes that continuous personal and professional development is key to achieving this goal.
