The municipal parking garage is located at the intersection of Bank and Grand Streets. There is also an entrance on Field Street, which is off Grand Street and on the side of the City Hall building at 235 Grand Street. Limited free public parking for court customers is also available in the courthouse ramp garage, located on State Street, next to 400 Grand Street. Metered parking is available on Grand Street.
Divorce attorneys refer to the Waterbury District Court as the Waterbuty Family Court.”
Middlebury, Naugatuck, Prospect, Southbury, Waterbury, and Wolcott file divorces in the Waterbury Family Court.
Watertown and Woodbury can file at either the Waterbury courthouse or at the Litchfield Family Court located in Torrington. Southbury may use either the Waterbury or Milford courts.
Finally, residents of Plymouth may select between Waterbury and New Britain.
