Jaclyn Zolnik, Director of Paralegal Services
Jaclyn travels in a pack.
With two active teenage boys, three huskies, and her husband of seventeen years, family life can be hectic, but Jaclyn is unflappable. She brings that same levelheadedness to her paralegal work for Freed Marcroft, managing our court calendar, coordinating discovery, drafting documents, preparing files for court, taking care of clients, and generally keeping all of our legal matters running smoothly.
Jaclyn has worked as a paralegal for almost 20 years, and specializes in all areas of family law. She spends a lot of time with clients on some of our more complex cases, and brings empathy and understanding to those relationships. Some of her favorite files are complicated matters where attention to detail really counts.
Jaclyn is a graduate of Albertus Magnus College and American Institute of Paralegal Studies. She was a member of the Central Connecticut Paralegal Association, the National Federation of Paralegals, the National Association of Legal Assistants, and has volunteered as a pro bono paralegal through the Connecticut Bar Association. She became a certified paralegal by successfully completing the National Association of Legal Assistants two-day comprehensive CLA/CP examination. She regularly continues her education by attending seminars and classes taught by the Connecticut Bar Association and the National Business Institute to be kept advised of current changes in her areas of practice.
When not managing Freed Marcroft’s open cases or her family’s schedule, Jackie can often be found at a beach with a book or a camera in hand. She enjoys exploring new places with her children and being very active.
