Courtney Dillon is ready for anything.

She keeps a backup cork in her purse. Also sunglasses, flip flops, a string of Rosary beads and bandaids. That’s AFTER she cleaned it out.

Courtney focuses her practice on family law. Courtney’s social work background helps fuel her passion for family law and the wellness of others. To Courtney, it’s not just about giving legal advice. It’s about guiding her clients through a difficult time and helping them and their children on their journey to their best and true selves. She is a member of the Waterbury Bar, the Milford Bar and the Connecticut Bar Association. She serves as a board member for the Connecticut Partnership for Children, an organization providing necessities and school supplies to low income children throughout the state.

Family is very important to Courtney. She’s the second of three children, and adores her two nephews Ronan and Brennan, who live in Nashville. She has two dogs, Fitzpatrick the Shih Tzu mix and Remmy the Pitbull. The three of them love to spend time hiking or at the beach. Both pups look fantastic in bow-ties and aren’t afraid to dress up for special occasions.

Courtney studied social work at her beloved Providence College, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Mu social work honor society and graduated cum laude. She then returned to her native Connecticut to attend Quinnipiac School of Law, where she received her JD and befriended our own Kristen Marcroft in a study abroad program in Ireland. While at Quinnipiac, Courtney received the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award for Juvenile Law. She participated in the Society for Dispute Resolution, where she served as both the Treasurer and VP of Internal Competition.

Courtney believes everyone deserves the best. Whether it’s the treats she buys for her dogs, or the attention and care she provides her clients, she is committed to her belief that everyone deserves the very best she has to give.

Additionally, Courtney loves travel and nautical themes, and she may be a superstar golfer, but she isn’t sure yet.
